Second expansion, SRD update, and the dreaded price change.
Howdy folks!
Firstly, I want to say it's been a little bit and I have some good news mixed with complicated news.
The good news is, I finally plan on adding the two additional expansions (Vyrmhack: Marshal, Vyrmhack: Wander) to be purchased digitally. Those who have seen me at conventions have probably already spotted the physical copies of these expansions in the wild.
As a quick overview, the expansions collectively add a BUNCH of new features including advancement options, new gods and magic, scenarios for cooperative and competitive play, and a massive addition in the form of a hex-crawl sandbox.
Now, on the complicated side of things, I've been hesitant to release them digitally because I couldn't decide on an appropriate way of doing it. If you've heard me ramble about it in person I debated releasing them as individual products (annoyingly piece-meal), adding them to the main product page (how would that be priced?), or just waiting until ALL the expansions are complete and them do a big release (takes too long).
So, after chewing it over for... a year, I decided to release them under the same product with a price change for the following reasons:
- Legacy owners will get access to the new expansions free of charge as a thank you for checking out Vyrmhack in its early stages (an idea I'm borrowing from Wolves Upon the Coast).
- The game has grown to the point where I need to start charging more, especially if I want to put together some finances to work on the last two expansions.
- I've tried the "tiered payment" system with Vast in the Dark, but it ended up being a confusing pain in the ass for anyone who tried to purchase it, so I will NOT be doing that in the future.

I still dont know EXACTLY how starting equipment, spellcasting and strain works. The wording is unusual to me. No one wants to answer. This hurts cause i LOVE the system and the synergy of it's single parts. Seeing exactly how brings joy.
The covers for marshal and wander are not included if you buy the game here. This hurts cause i LOVE the art that transports the mood in such a beautiful way.
I am not mad about it. Just wanted to point it out in hope of clarification and maybe helping improve a game that is criminally unterrated.
Despite those "cons" the game is still something i would and do recommend.

Maybe... Just maybe... Some day we will get a remaster... Would buy it the moment i get a notification ;)
Marachal and wander feel and play great. As does VyrmHack.
The vibe is unique to me in general. Does a great job at reminding you that "YOU ARE VYRM" ;)
There where many situations where i had to choose between mörk borg, forbidden psalm, "a laserburn hack" and VyrmHack and ended up picking VyrmHack. It is fast and brutal without all the joking... Sometimes i don't want to laugh and giggle... Sometimes i want to murder everything in the dungeon or die in a horrible way while the body is twitching from mutations and my god does not answer my prayers. VyrmHack gives you the tools to experience this. The tables are filled with stuff that give opportunities to tell a story and flesh out the Charakters.
... So... Yeah... You are doing a great job! Take your time. I will lurk patiently in the shadows till a new part is ready to be snatched away.

if we buy the physical copy do we get access to any of these?

hey I bought the game a year ago for like 5$ I isn't giving me the option of downloading the additional material I don't mind repaying again but it something to be aware of FYI.

That's great! I was just looking to see if those zines were anywhere digitally yesterday! I'm writing a scenario for Vyrm so it's going to be super helpful. Hope the decision goes well.
